Jupiter: Sunday, March 1, 2020--5 sessions plus 20 minute evaluation.

Dates:  Five one hour sessions, Sundays, March 1, 8, 15, Review class Due to COVID19--Saturday, June 6th, 3:30 to 4:45pm

Evaluations on June 20 with individual reservation. Approximately 20 minutes.


Location: Animal Medical Center, 2151 Alt. A1A, Jupiter FL.

Fee:  $150.00

Due to COVID 19  we ask that you attend with sanitizer, masks and remain at a 6 foot distance.  There is no access to the office and so we ask that you bring water for you and your dog and a chair.


We appreciate your dedication to make your dog a Canine Good Citizen.


We limit class size to provide safety and to allow time for individual attention. Once registered, we hold a place for you. Please note that cancellations less than 5 days before the class cannot be refunded.

#6 -- A 20 MIN. EVALUATION

 This course expands on obedience training and adds advanced social skills. It prepares you both for Therapy Dog training and  promotes responsible pet ownership. It creates a deeper bond with your dog. Dogs who pass may earn an official certificate from the American Kennel Club. There is no age limit and all dogs must have basic obedience skills and are required to have proof of  vaccinations

The Ten Test Items for CGC

We recommend that your dog has basic obedience skills.

  • Accepting a friendly stranger
  • Sitting politely for petting
  • Appearance and grooming
  • Walking on a loose leash
  • Walking through a crowd
  • SIT and DOWN on command
  • STAY, COME when called
  • Reaction to another dog
  • Reaction to distraction
  • Supervised separation

Lake Worth. AKC Canine Good Citizen Course, June 28, 2020

We are taking reservations and keep this course limited to five teams.


Location:  Paws on the Avenue, 525 Lake Avenue, Lake Worth, FL

Dates:  Five one hour sessions, Sundays, June 28th, July 5, 12, 19, 26 and Evaluations on August 2nd. with individual reservation. Approximately 20 minutes.

Cost:  $150.00 for six weeks.  Reserve and pay at Paws on the Avenue.
